HGV Fleet Technician | West Drayton | £50,000–£55,000 basic + overtime + company van + £1,000 joining bonus | Monday to Friday | No shift work

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Fleet Technician to join our West Drayton operation and help maintain our in-house fleet of tankers and support vehicles.

This is a predominantly yard-based role with occasional attendance at breakdowns when required. A company van is provided, and the role would suit a skilled technician from a main dealer, fleet, or commercial vehicle workshop background who is used to working across servicing, PMIs, inspections, brakes, repairs, and fault-finding.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGV tankers and support vehicles

• Carry out PMIs, inspections and preventative maintenance

• Complete brake, mechanical and electrical repairs

• Diagnose faults and rectify defects

• Support vehicle compliance and roadworthiness

• Keep accurate maintenance records

• Attend breakdowns or off-site vehicle issues when needed

What we’re looking for

• Experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

• Own tools are essential

• Strong fault-finding, repair and diagnostic skills

• Experience across servicing, PMIs, inspections and general fleet maintenance

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, or time-served equivalent

Desirable

• HGV licence

• ADR

• Tanker fleet experience

• DAF experience
